> Nature photographer Kyle Horner (www.kylehorner.com) is running a workshop on reptile and amphibian photography here at Scales Nature Park this Sunday. It will be from 10AM to 1PM. The regular $65 cost includes park admission, but for members of the groups I’m forwarding this to, I will waive the $12 daily admission so that it will be a little cheaper. I don’t want to see it get cancelled due to lack of registration, so hopefully we can get a few more people signed up. Kyle is an excellent speaker and a great photographer; I’ve travelled with him in Ontario and Florida quite a bit and featured some of his shots on our gift shop gallery wall in 2010. Many of the interpretive signs here also feature his pictures.
>
> Please contact me (or Kyle directly) by Friday if you’re interested, and feel free to share this around. This is a great chance to learn some tips and tricks about wildlife photography, and take some pictures of interesting and beautiful creatures up close!

> Scales Nature Park is the home of the most complete collection of native (Ontario) reptiles and amphibians in the province. This workshop includes admission to Scales, a private tour, photographic instruction and a photo session with the live animals and the help of a professional wrangler. Any camera will do. This is a half-day workshop, but your admission to the park is good for the entire day. Runs from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Cost is $65 per person.
