Hello Everyone!
For the past few years now there has been a small but dedicated group of
club members who have made our competitions possible. They are our
judges. This group of people have offered up their time and opinions to
critique the submitted photos and assign scores. If you are one of these
people THANK YOU.

I would like to make a general request that anyone who would like to be
apart of our competition process by being one of our judges please reply
and let me know. It would be awesome if I could get 3-4 new people on
our judging roster.

What does a judge do?

I'm glad you asked :)

Judges are required to review the submitted photos for a competition
category and assign a score between 5 and 10 and then provide written
feedback to the photographer based on your critical opinion. This will
required between 1-2 hours of your time per competition category. This
does not mean that you will be judges every category. If fact if I get
enough judges on-board you may only be required to participate once or
twice.

If you are interested but would like some more detailed instruction we
can setup a judges training night to get everyone up to speed.

I'm looking forward to your responses.

Peter Gallagher
ODCC Competition Coordinator
