Hi Everyone,
There is an outing scheduled for this Saturday Sept. 22nd. to the Tree Museum in Gravenhurst. Last year our plans were foiled by a heavy rainfall so I picked a date earlier in the year hoping that the weather would be better. I also said that the Sunday the 23rd would be the rain date if the Saturday was raining.
Well, at the moment the weather forecast for both Saturday and Sunday is rain.
I am keeping an eye on the weather and will get back to those that are interested in going. The Tree Museum is on a large area of land which is typical of Muskoka terrain. My concern is that will all the rain this week the rocks will be slippery. It involves a lot of walking to see all the installations and it is through woods and meadows that my be very wet. There is a 40% chance of rain at the moment but the Friday has a 80% chance of rain and there is rain forecast for the rest of this week as well.
If you are interested and were planning on attending let me know by email and I will keep you up dated as to what is happening.
I was looking for alternative things to do for an outing that would not be outdoors should it rain. I found two fine art photographers that are on the Springwater Guild of Artists tour this weekend. One is in Midhurst and one is in Elmvale. Mike Guilbault and Thomas Quint. We could visit there studios if anyone is interested instead of the Tree Museum. So let me know what you think if you were planning on attending the outing this weekend.
Judy
