Greetings everyone, from Kamloops, British Columbia. 

I thoroughly enjoyed viewing the slide show of your December photo
challenges. There are some great photos in there, and it appears that
your club is flourishing! Well done! 

I haven't been active in the Kamloops Photo Arts Club this past year or
so as I'm too busy working to stay ahead of the bills. But... my
photography itch is still alive and well. My main activity until now has
been action photography. I'm making some money at it, but not enough so
alas, I must still work a full time job to pay the bills. I do get out
once in a while for photography play and if you are interested in seeing
what I've been capturing, I share mostly via Facebook:

I left Ontario in June 2009 to come here, and it's been only been 4.5
years but they have gone so fast that it feels like a lifetime ago. I
often think of you all, and I still miss (yes, I said MISS) the big
snowfalls in winter, and the rocks, water and trees in summer. It's
really beautiful here, but whenever I see photos of places I've been to
in Ontario I do feel pangs of homesickness. 

Merry Christmas and best wishes to you all for good health, happiness,
and success in 2014!!
