Hello all,

There is a new post-processing product on the market as an alternative to and/or an addition to your workflow and it is called DxO Optics Pro from Germany.  It’s technology is based on knowing and understanding the computer technology that allows your camera to capture the images.  For example, once you import the image into the program, it will look at the image’s exif data and determine which camera and lens combo was used to create the image.  It will then automatically optimize the image including removing noise based on that body/lens combo.  You can also choose to edit the image as you would in any other post-processing program or choose from a number of presets.

It is currently on sale up until December 25 for $99 US regular $139 and is also available for a 30-day fully-functional trial.
