Next month we host a guest speaker by the name of Don Komarechka. Topic: “Vision Beyond Seeing”

He is a young photographer from the Barrie area and a member/president of the BPC (Barrie Photo Club).

Biography:
About Don
Don Komarechka is an award-winning nature and landscape photographer located in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Charged with emotion and beauty, Don’s photography is backed by a passion for capturing the natural world.

Don’s photos convey a sense of peaceful wonder, creating curiosity and intrigue in the viewer. While much of his work is done locally, many have a national and world-wide appeal.

Don has taught Nature & Landscape Photography and Macro Photography, and loves to share his passion for the visual world. “Every photo has a story – the best come from the spectacular capture of ordinary moments.”

With an interest in photography that started just a few short years ago, Don often speaks at various local technology and photography clubs about the art. “Photography is about sharing your unique view of the world with others – without using words. Helping others accomplish the same goal is extremely rewarding. I like to see the world through my camera in ways I normally cannot see with my own eyes. Seeing the world beyond vision is a gift that photography gives me.”
