[Members] Camera Club Meeting - March 13

Hello all

 

The March 13 meeting is almost upon us. Just a reminder that there are 2
exciting activities scheduled. David Burton, from the Barrie Henry's store
will discuss new photographic equipment coming out in 2013, provide some
insight to lighting equipment leaving enough time for some Q&A's during the
first part of the meeting. After the break, John McQuirter will lead a hands
on portrait workshop complete with live musician models. You will learn how
to set exposures, white balance and select the most appropriate lens. Even
more you will gain knowledge of setting yourself up for shooting positions
for stage productions, plays and performances. As a result the skills you
will learn from this exercise will show you the final effects of using a
wide angle lens compared to a telephoto lens. Make sure to bring your camera
and be part of the action. It will be a full and exciting evening all round.
