Hi all

Last Sunday, Ed Glanert passed away after a full life of 92+ years.  Ed was an honorary Orillia and District Camera Club member and enjoyed having the Club over for  wildflower walks in the Spring.  

His interest in photographer was lifelong.  He opened one of the first colour printing labs in Toronto in the 1950s, he retired early and built his home across from the Copeland Forest, he taught photography at Sheridan College, he led photography and nature trips to Europe, Antarctica and Africa.  But, most of all, he enjoyed sharing his two passions, photography and nature, with friends.

His family is having a Celebration of Ed's Life this Saturday at 1:00 pm at his home, 4055 Line 5 N, off Ingram Rd.  You are welcome to come and pay your respects and share your experiences with Ed with his friends and family.
