DESCRIPTION:Join us at 7:30 pm in the multi-purpose room at the Orillia Recreation Centre. \nDavid Kennedy will present on: \n\nWhy B&W photography continues to be an important art form.\nHow easy it is with the modern mirrorless cameras and ways to convert your colour RAW file to black and white.\nHow to utilize infrared for unique B&W images. David has a mirrorless camera that has been converted to infrared only and he will review how he uses this camera and how to process infrared raw files into B&W.\n\n \nDavid enjoys both colour and B&W photography but some of his favourite images are in B&W. David is a past-president of the Orillia Camera Club and the Toronto Focal Forum. He has exhibited at local galleries and participated in the Images Studio Tour and Coldwater Art Tour. He is presently recognized as a master level photographer in the Richmond Hill Camera Club. \nMany of David’s stunning images are taken locally in Orillia\, Oro Medonte and surrounding areas. He was formerly President of the Copeland Forest Friends and many of his images are taken from there. His photography is an extension of his passion for the natural environment and the beauty of the world. \nWe hope you will join us! If you are not presently a club member – you can attend at this meeting for a contribution of only $5 / person. You may also want to join the club or renew your membership at $35 / person\, $60 / couple.

He has worked as a professional photographer for over 25 years with clients that included: The Centaur Theatre\, Zellers\, Proctor and Gamble\, and Association des Hopitaux du Quebec. \nTopic:\nGilberto will be discussing his background as a professional commercial and portrait photographer and his technical approach to capturing each subject and situation.  It will consist of about 15-20 images (mainly in black and white). \nPhoto Challenge Theme: The Colour Green

Connor will be presenting few photos from each area and talk about the photo and how he created the photograph.
