Orillia and District Camera Club Meeting Sept. 11, 2019
The Orillia and District Camera Club will kick off its fall and winter season in the Meeting Room on the second floor of Rotary Place at 7:30 PM. Our guest speaker will be Rob Stimpson, a Canadian award-winning photographer who has been published at home and abroad. He will be speaking about Creative Images and how to put WOW in your photographs.
Rob teaches photography part time at Fleming College, runs workshops throughout Ontario and is an expedition photographer for One Ocean Expeditions. He has also photographed for Canada’s National Film Board, Ontario Tourism, Ontario Parks and Parks Canada. His photos have appeared on Ontario Parks Guides, calendars, magazines, national ads for the province and Canada, Canadian Geographic, Explore Magazine, Cathay Pacific, and Japan Air in-flight magazines. In 2012, he was accepted into the College of Fellows in the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.
Non-members are welcome to attend the meeting for a nominal fee of $5.
