Hi all

We had a great start to our new season with the presentation by Peter Stranks on "Self Portraiture, Self Expression and the Bag we Drag Behind".

Peter left us with some challenging themes for us to explore in the coming year:

Exploring Self-portraiture for ourselves
Being more creative in our photography.

With respect to creativity, he highlighted the value of three photographic tools to experiment with:

Point of view
Perspective
Reflections
Foreground, mid-ground and background.

He has kindly given us a copy of his presentation with the text and images for us to revisit.  

Remember a creative photographer does not take photographs but makes photographs.
