[Members] Upcoming Meeting on October 12th

Hi all

We are looking forward to our next meeting.  The speaker will be Lance Gitter, who is an innovative photographer and Camera Club judge.  He will speak on "what makes a good photograph versus a bad photograph?"  Lance will show us a selection of some of his award-winning photographs.  

Lance has been an active member of the Richmond Hill Camera Club since 1999 and the Toronto Digital Photo Club since 2001. He has been an accredited judge for a number of  years and chaired the Toronto-wide interclub competition in 2008 and 2009. Photography has ben a life passion for Lance.   He used to have his own home darkroom but he has gone digital and is now a considered an expert in digital photography.  He has been honoured as photographer of the year by both Toronto clubs .  He enjoys judging, giving workshops and presentations and producing photo essays  and slideshows.We are looking forward to his presentation and to seeing some of his photos!

As well, that evening, Arni Stinnissen will give an overview on Flickr, the online photo sharing web site and demonstrate how we can use Flickr to share photos amongst ourselves and get feedback.  Arni has already established a private forum on Flickr for us, where we can share our photos and discuss them.  

We will also discussing outings and field trip ideas for late fall.
